President’s Commission on the Status of Women Special Election

Washington State University’s Presidential Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is holding a special election to fill four vacant voting membership positions.  This is a unique opportunity to work to better the lives of WSU women, their families, and their communities.  CSW, with the guidance and advice of our community partners, gathers data, monitors trends, and makes policy recommendations directly to the president.  The work that CSW does helps to make WSU a place where women can thrive and achieve.

Currently, there are two vacant variable student positions and we encourage both graduate and undergraduate students to apply.  In addition, the Spokane representative position and one other variable position are open.  Any staff or faculty may apply for the open variable position.  Appointments are for two years.  CSW recognizes that the work we do benefits from diverse perspectives and experiences and we welcome applicants of all genders, races, sexualities, abilities and creeds.

To apply, please download the application from our website and send the completed application to Dr. Melanie-Angela Neuilly at m.neuilly@wsu.edu by November 27, 2015.  You can find the application at https://president.wsu.edu/committees/womens-status.html.
