President & Executive Director of Aldo Leopold Foundation at WSU Pullman

Buddy Huffaker, the President & Executive Director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation will be at WSU in Pullman on Oct. 9 and 10.

Huffaker’s visit is sponsored by the School of Design and Construction, the School of the Environment, and CEREO.

On October 9th, Huffaker will screen and discuss the documentary Green Fire. The documentary is about legendary conservation thinker Aldo Leopold and explores Leopold’s extraordinary career and his enduring influence – tracing how he shaped the modern conservation movement and continues to inspire projects all over the country that connect people and the land. On Oct. 10, Huffaker will present a lecture titled “The Aldo Leopold Foundation: Land Ethic in the 21st Century.”

Both events take place from 5 to 6 p.m. in Goertzen 21.
