Plus-size women needed in thermal imaging research to improve clothing comfort

This week, researchers Dr. Christel, Dr. Bradley and Megan Vulcan MS ARNP, are recruiting plus-size women to help improve thermal and fit comfort of undergarments. The study is a collaboration with Cotton Incorporated and pilot tests found that new underwear, designed by the researchers, reduced plus-size women’s skin temperature by 2 degrees. Please help these researchers continue their efforts in creating high quality undergarments for plus-size women.

Participants will be asked to spend 30 min or less at their lab in Vogel (meet in the atrium area), complete surveys and be in 4 thermal photos. The photos only capture below the neck and to the thighs and participants keep their underwear on. No faces will be recorded. For more questions, email (Deborah_christel@wsu.edu) or call Dr. Christel @ 253-203-4189 To schedule an appointment, reserve a time slot here: https://doodle.com/poll/ut9rfa8k2hz4ifqt
