PERS 2 and PSERS 2 participants: Contribution rate change

Effective July 1, 2025, participants in the Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS) and Public Safety Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS) will see a slight change in employee contributions. The PERS 2 rate will be decreasing from 6.36% to 5.38%, and PSERS 2 will see an increase from 6.76% to 6.91% with the changes being reflected on your July 25, 2025 paycheck.

These rates are subject to change by the Legislature, and are normally established every two years.
