Penultimate Summer Fruit Sales July 28 & 29 at WSU HORT CTR

Only 4 more days of Summer Fruit Sales, this week July 28 & 29 followed by the final summer sales Aug. 4 & 5

The WSU Horticulture Department would like to welcome all to come and buy already-picked fruit at the Horticulture Center building 400A inside Spillman Farm at 1452 Johnson Road, Pullman. For this weekend we have sweet cherries, Shiro (yellow) plums, a few blueberries, gooseberries, currants, and a few Jostaberries.

Hours of operation:
Friday from noon to 6 p.m.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items for sale:

  • Shiro (yellow) plums = $3 per pound
  • Dark sweet cherries = $3 per pound including Lapins and Bing
  • Rainier sweet cherries = $5 per pound (only a few left)
  • Gooseberries  = $15 per pound
  • Currants = $15 per pound
  • Blueberries = $15 per pound (only a few)

Fresh-pressed apple cider

  • Half gallons = $8
  • Whole gallons = $12

Summer fruit sales will continue for only one more week. Aug. 5 & 6 be our last sales until Italian plums and apples are ready mid- to late-September.
