EasterFest 2015 is an Easter festival taking place this Saturday, April 4, at Kruegel Park.

A WSU Sport Management group has partnered with Pullman Parks and Recreation to put on this event.

There will be an Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Pullman. Immediately following the egg hunt, at 10:30 a.m. EasterFest will begin complete with carnival games, inflatables, prizes, and much more!

The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites all to attend a colloquium talk featuring Dr. Matthew Duez, Assistant Professor of Physics at WSU.  Dr. Duez will present his talk, “Effects of Magnetic Turbulence in Neutron Stars and Nuclear-Density Accretion Disks” on Tuesday, April 7, at 4:10 pm in Webster room B17.

Joanne Harkins is retiring after 42 years of service to Washington State University.  Joanne has worked at the Office of Student Affairs, the former Department of Speech, and the College of Education.  For the past 25 years, she has been the Assistant to the Dean, first in the College of Sciences and now in the College of Arts and Sciences.  Please join us on Friday, April 17, at the CUB Junior Ballroom from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., to say thank you for her many contributions to WSU and to wish her a happy start to a new journey.   (more…)

Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse is the only agency in the community and on campus that provides free, confidential advocacy services to victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and other crimes. One-third of ATVP’s clients are affiliated with the WSU campus. Representatives from the bioinformatics software provider, CLC-Bio, will be on site for two user training sessions.  The first will be for a general introduction to the software for new and beginning users and the second will be a smaller workshop for advanced users with specific workflow questions.  Users and potential users of the software from across campus and the state are encouraged to attend.
