We have seats available on our Lewiston/Clarkston van. Our schedule is 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. year round. The average monthly rate is $70. – $80.

The annual Tour de Lentil bike ride is coming up on August 22.  This untimed ride is open to anyone over 18 with distance options of 50km, 100km, or 150km. Registration includes a FREE t-shirt, water, snacks, and a post-ride BBQ.  Proceeds will benefit the WSU Cycling Club, so sign up soon!

University Recreation, along with Housing and Residence Life, are excited to open the doors to the new Down Under Recreation Center on August 15. Located in the lower level of the Stephenson Complex, the Down Under Recreation Center will offer additional convenience to students and University Recreation members with no additional membership fees.  (more…)

Cougar Soccer opens the season with an exhibition match vs. Eastern Washington on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Lower Soccer Field. Admission is free for all fans!

The third annual “Color Me Coug” 5K is coming up on August 23! Come  run, jog, or walk through a rainbow of color with University Recreation! We will provide the canvas (t-shirt) and you can make it a masterpiece. This fun-run is open to anyone over age seven. Participants under the age of fourteen must have a parent or guardian join them in the fun.  Register early to guarantee your FREE t-shirt and sunglasses!

Keep the CUB included in your Week of Welcome plans this year by stopping by our outdoor movie and rooftop concert!

The outdoor movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, is scheduled for Monday, August 17, on the roof of Terrell Library at 9 p.m. Admission is free, and free popcorn and Coca-Cola products will be available.

The concert is set for Thursday, August 20, at 8 p.m., also on the roof of Terrell Library. The concert will feature Cody Beebe and the Crooks, and Tommy Simmons as the musical guests. Admission for this event is also free.

WSU has extended the Angel LMS for an extra semester to give faculty more time to prepare courses in the new Blackboard Learn Platform. Angel, due to go off-line in August, will now be available until Dec. 30, and both Angel and Blackboard Learn will be available for Fall 2015. All Angel courses must be migrated to Blackboard by Dec. 30. (more…)
