Outdoor Heat Exposure

The Department of Labor and Industries updated Outdoor Heat Exposure requirements, with new rules becoming effective July 17. The rules apply to all employees working outdoors for 15 minutes or more in a 60‑minute period once temperatures reach 80 degrees. To review the new requirements, see EH&S’ Heat Exposure web page.
