On March 5, 2018, WSU Libraries will host a workshop introducing open educational resources and providing an opportunity to review an open textbook in exchange for a $200 stipend. WSU faculty are eligible to participate. To receive a stipend, participants will need to review an open textbook in their field that is hosted in the University of Minnesota’s Open Textbook Library.
When: Monday, March 5, 2018, Noon-1:30 pm
Where: Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation (4th floor, Holland Library)
How to apply: Apply for the workshop by filling out the online application.
Please complete your application on or before February 20, 2018. Note that open textbooks are not available for all subjects and course levels, so you will be asked to check textbook availability by visiting https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/ before you submit your application. Funding will be awarded only to WSU faculty who complete reviews. Fifteen stipends are available – registration on a first-come, first-serve basis.
