One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, by Dale Wasserman, adapted from the novel by Ken Kesey and directed by Benjamin Gonzales, is the story of Randle P. McMurphy. This charming rogue avoids the rigors of prison by opting to serve time at an Oregon state psychiatric hospital, on fierce Nurse Ratched’s ward. He inspires his complacent ward-mates to rebel, in this tragicomic allegory, as they discover their true identities and destinies.
Performances are scheduled for April 3, 4, 10 and 11 at Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
