In the United States today, approximately one in six people are living in poverty. This means that in a class of 30, five students are in poverty. With such a high poverty rate in our county, those closest to you, your own friends and family, could be affected. What does poverty really look like? What is it like to experience poverty? Join us for a compelling conversation on understanding the true faces of poverty. Help us dispel the stereotypes surrounding hunger, homelessness, and poverty and learn to make a difference.
