Office of the Registrar – Personnel update

Julia Pomerenk, University Registrar, has accepted a new position at the University of Oregon effective mid-July. Julia will join the Student Services and Enrollment Management leadership team as the Assistant Vice President and University Registrar.

Please join Provost Dan Bernardo in thanking Julia for her twenty-three years of exemplary service to Washington State University. Her contributions have been numerous and significant.  We will miss her professionalism, good will, delightful personality, and wisdom.

Julia’s last day at WSU will be July 14. Matt Zimmerman, Associate Registrar, has accepted the position of Interim University Registrar effective July 15 and until a permanent University Registrar is identified and hired.  Matt’s dedication to the Registrar’s Office is greatly appreciated.

On July 13 from 3 – 5 p.m., the Provost’s Office will host a celebratory reception for Julia in the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE), Room 518. The program will start at 3:30 p.m.  We hope you will join us to thank Julia and wish her well as she embarks on her journey to Eugene!
