Office of the University Ombuds update

The Office of the University Ombuds has moved to the French Administration Building on the Pullman campus and is now located on the first floor in suite 134. From May 16 through Aug. 15, the Office of the University Ombuds will be open from 8 a.m. – noon.

The Office of the University Ombuds’ primary purpose is to protect the interests, rights, and privileges of students, staff, and faculty at all levels and locations of WSU operations and programs. The Ombuds is a neutral, informal, independent, and confidential resource to all members of the university community. The Ombuds Office provides information about WSU policies and procedures and operates in accordance with the standards and ethics of the International Ombuds Association (IOA). The office also facilitates the resolution of problems and grievances through informal investigation and mediation. The office does not supersede other university grievance, complaint, or appeal procedures.

To schedule an appointment or contact the Office of the University Ombuds, please email ombuds@wsu.edu or call 509-335-1195.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it.
