Oct. 15: Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti keynotes Hoops Tax Institute Forum

Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti will be the keynote speaker for the Hoops Taxation Research and Policy Institute’s fall forum at 4:30–5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Spark G45 on the Pullman campus.

The presentation is free and open to the public. It will be livestreamed on Zoom.

As Washington’s Chief Financial Officer, Pellicciotti is dedicated to financial transparency, protecting Washington’s financial health, and leading policies that best serve working families and retirees. As treasurer, he has modernized state finances and championed bipartisan legislation promoting lifelong economic opportunity for Washingtonians. He expanded access to financial education and proposed making it mandatory in schools. He is particularly focused on promoting policies that support economic development in rural regions and other communities that have been historically denied access to capital.
