November PIT Stop: ‘Educational Equity is a Journey, Not a Destination’

PIT (Pedagogy, Innovation, and Technology) Stops are bi-monthly professional development opportunities for faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and instructional staff. They are sponsored by the Transformational Change Initiative in the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President.

This month’s system-wide event features Dr. Lisa Guerrero, Vice Chancellor for Equity and Inclusive Excellence. Dr. Lisa Guerrero will lead an exploration of the ongoing and dynamic nature of achieving equity in postsecondary education. Equity is not a fixed goal but a continuous process of improvement. As such, this PIT Stop encourages a forward-looking perspective, inspiring educators to commit to the long-term journey of ensuring equal opportunities and outcomes for all students in our ever-evolving educational landscape.
