Nov 9: Reception for ‘Traces’ graduate art exhibition

The Department of Fine Arts presents an exhibition of graduate work on view Nov. 4–19 in Fine Arts Gallery 2.

‘Traces’ features a variety of works by WSU’s MFA graduate students. Each artist deconstructs and reconstructs pieces from a larger body or from past experience in order to provide the viewer a frame into a larger narrative. Conceptually, each artist is also concerned with the notion of process — through capturing states of change, emphasizing repetition and difference, and embodying memory within their physical work.

Featuring artwork by Sarah Barnett, Oceana Rain Fields, Autumn Hunnicutt, Mozi Jones, Samantha Park, Meagan Marsh Pine, Reika Pratt, Shanda Stinebaugh, Siri Stensberg, Adam Stewart, Sean K. Sullivan, and Allen Vu.

Join us Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 4:30 p.m. for a reception & refreshments!
