New website about WSU’s initiative to restore fiscal health launched

A new university website—wsu.edu/fiscal-health—has been created as part of the effort to keep the community informed and involved in system-wide efforts to restore WSU’s fiscal health.

The website will provide regular updates about the university’s progress in reducing expenditures to bring them in line with revenues. The site currently includes a summary of WSU’s budget situation as well as the communications chancellors, vice presidents, and deans sent to their respective units in October and November outlining initial plans to reduce spending. Everyone is encouraged to use the online form on the site to provide feedback.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
