Human Resource Services recently added new onboarding resources to the Recruitment Toolkit.
Additions to help welcome new employees to Washington State University include:
- Updates to the “New Employee Onboarding Checklist” – a document that helps the hiring department keep track of crucial items during the onboarding process.
- A sample onboarding schedule and template that can be modified to fit the needs of the hiring department.
- “Guiding Principles of Onboarding” – Principles that outline the importance of onboarding and engaging the new employee. Onboarding is an ongoing process, not a onetime event, it is something that needs to extend beyond New Employee Orientation.
