The Office of Research announces the release of the 2026 New Faculty Seed Grant Competition guidelines. The purpose of the New Faculty Seed Grant Program is to encourage new junior-level faculty to develop research, scholarly, and/or creative programs that provide the potential for sustained professional development and extramural support.
Researchers, scholars, and artists who have been appointed as new junior-level faculty no earlier than May 16, 2022 are encouraged to apply. Individual grants may not exceed $25,000 and proposals for smaller amounts are encouraged and considered equally competitive.
Letters of intent are due Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. Late NOIs will not be accepted.
RSVP to attend the NFSG Q&A on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. via Zoom.
