New Director, Office Location for WSU Distinguished Scholarships Program

Award-winning advisor and counselor April Seehafer will direct the WSU Distinguished Scholarships Program in its new location: Smith CUE 519.

The program is part of WSU Undergraduate Education, and offers an array of services to students preparing to apply for prestigious, nationally competitive scholarships, such as the Fulbright, the Goldwater, and the Rhodes. Sarah Ann Hones led the program since 2011; she retired from WSU this past summer.

Seehafer is a WSU alumna and has built her professional advising and counseling career at WSU over the past two decades. She began as the director of the Distinguished Scholarships Program on Jan. 26.
