New 25Live scheduling system ready for implementation

Washington State University is updating the on-site Resource25 scheduling system and will be deploying a cloud hosted solution called 25Live Class and Event Scheduling. The 25Live scheduling system will enable event planners and academic schedulers to have greater visibility to search venues and schedule university resources from a web site rather than from a local client interface. The new 25Live scheduling system will also provide a scheduling website customized for the Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver and Pullman campus that are administered and managed by personnel on each campus. These changes will provide a consistent scheduling interface for users that can be customized to meet the business needs specific to each campus.

The 25Live Implementation team, with membership representing each campus, has been working extensively with our vendor and core users at Washington State University to ensure a smooth transition to the new 25Live scheduling system. All core 25Live configurations have been completed, training has been developed and has been delivered to Academic and Event schedulers. Additional training is planned for the coming months. The 25Live Implementation team is ready to launch the new 25Live scheduling system with a phased implementation plan starting in July. More details will be provided as the system comes online and the new resources are available for all users.
