Nepal Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund

A 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck on Saturday, April 25, has devastated Nepal. The death toll according to CNN has risen to 4,700 and is increasing by the minute. A lot of the worst hit areas in the mountainous regions have barely received any assistance. There is an immediate need of basic supplies such as clean drinking water, food, tents for shelter, and medical supplies. We need your help to make a difference in the millions of lives all across Nepal. The Nepali Students’ Association is coordinating relief efforts at WSU.

Nepali Student’s Association (NSA) at Washington State University (WSU) is a non-profit, non-political organization formed and operated by Nepali students studying at WSU. Our major goals are to serve as a support organization for students studying at WSU from Nepal, to promote awareness among the WSU community about the rich art, culture, and traditions of Nepal, and to promote better relations and cooperation among Nepali students and the WSU and Pullman community at large.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
