National Science Foundation Major Research Instrumentation Program

Increase access to multi-user scientific and engineering instrumentation for research and research training through the National Science Foundation (NSF) Major Research Instrumentation Program (MRI). This program provides the opportunity to acquire major instrumentation that supports research and research training goals. Proposals are limited per institution so proposals must first be submitted for an internal review, coordinated by the Office of Research for tracks with more than the allotted submissions.
