Do you know a student who would be a great mentor? The Office of Multicultural Student Services is looking for outstanding students to serve as peer-to-peer student mentors for the 2019/2020 academic year. This internship is ideal for students looking to build their leadership, cross-cultural, and teamwork skills while having the satisfaction of helping first year multicultural students adjust to campus life.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate status
- 2.5 GPA (3.0 preferred)
- 30 completed semester credit hours (45 preferred) by Spring 2019
- Familiarity with issues that affect African American, Asian American & Pacific Islander, Chicanx Latinx, and Native American Students
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate well with others
