Nominate someone for the 2015 MLK Distinguished Service Awards. We all know people and groups throughout Washington State University that do outstanding community service throughout the year, both on and off campus. Wouldn’t it be great to see them get the recognition they deserve? Consider nominating the individuals and groups that you know for WSU’s MLK Distinguished Service Awards. The nomination deadline is Friday, November 21.
Winners will be chosen based upon their service in one or all of the following areas: altruism and community service, advancement of diversity, and education and inclusion.
Awards will be given in 5 categories:
- Current WSU faculty member
- Current WSU staff member
- Currently enrolled WSU student
- Group or organization affiliated with WSU
- Individual or group from the surrounding community

The award winners will be recognized during the WSU Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 22, 7:30 p.m., CUB Senior Ballroom.
