MLK 15 The Dream Behind Bars: Art for Social Change Competition

The MLK Program invites all WSU undergraduates to submit artwork in any medium: short film, painting, photography, poetry, etc. Entries must be submitted for one of the three categories.

Remembering MLK — Submissions that commemorate the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the legacy of MLK

Social Justice In Action — Submissions that address contemporary issues of inequality and injustice on a local, national, and/or global scale.
Community-Building at WSU — Submissions that foster an inclusive community at WSU (must be specific to WSU)

One winner will be selected for each category and will be awarded a $500 scholarship, iPad, or Kindle.

Deadline for submissions: Dec 8, 2014

All WSU undergraduates are invited to submit and eligible to win: Pullman, Spokane, Tri Cities, Vancouver, Global Campus, etc.

WSU hosts 50th Murrow Symposium on April 6, featuring industry leaders and livestream access

Over three days, the symposium will feature keynote speakers, nationally recognized journalists, industry panels, and interactive student experiences.
