Microsoft Teams calendar update, September 2025

Starting in September, Microsoft is rolling out a new calendar experience across its Teams platforms. WSU users accessing the classic (legacy) calendar version will see a permanent update to the Calendar app in Teams as the new Microsoft 365 calendar becomes the primary option in Teams.

Microsoft will automatically apply this change, with no action required from WSU users. However, faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to begin using the new calendar interface now to become familiar with its updated layout and features ahead of the transition.

WSU hosts 50th Murrow Symposium on April 6, featuring industry leaders and livestream access
