Mental Health First Aid-Registration ends Thursday Feb. 19

Don’t miss your opportunity to become a certified Mental Health First Aider. Increase your awareness of mental health issues and improve your ability to help, with Mental Health First Aid training on:

Saturday, February 21 • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in CUE 119

This certification will provide knowledge to help identify risk factors, signs and symptoms of mental health issues, and how to help in a crisis situation.

Participants will learn what to do until the appropriate professional help arrives and gain general awareness about prevalence rates and available treatment.

Preregistration is required and seats cannot be held until payment is received. The cost is $40 and can be via IRI for WSU departments or with cash or check in advance.

Please visit our Health and Wellness programs page for registration information or call Brad Stewart at 509-334-7101.
