Did you know that mental illness among college students is on the rise at Washington State University and across the country? Have you ever wondered what you can do to help students who suffer from mental illness? Health & Wellness Services is offering Mental Health First Aid training to help you recognize symptoms and assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. The training will teach you how to look for warning signs on a range of issues including depression, anxiety/trauma, psychosis, substance use disorders, and self-injury. For more information and the dates we are offering trainings this fall, visit our website.
The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience.
