Memorial Seminar and Reception for Dr. James Satterlee

It is with deep regret that the Department of Chemistry at WSU announces the passing of our friend and colleague, Professor James Satterlee. Since 1989 Jim has been a dedicated researcher and a highly admired educator in this department.

We are pleased to host Dr. Steve Alam, from the University of Utah, to present Dr. Satterlee’s latest research.

Please join us for Dr. Alam’s special seminar from 11 a.m. – noon and stay for a reception lunch to be held immediately after the research talk. The gathering will be held in the CUB Junior Ballroom on Thursday, October 16, in honor of Dr. Satterlee’s life and achievements.

Memorial donations can be made to the Satterlee Scholarship Fund, WSU Foundation, CAS Donor Relations Office, PO Box 644235, Pullman, WA 99164-4235.  Checks should be made out to WSU Foundation with Jim’s name in the memo line.

RSVP’s are appreciated. Contact: chelsea.m.pickett@wsu.edu.
