On Wednesday, May 25, HRS Learning and Organizational Development is hosting the second annual Leading in Cougar Country event. The event is intended for faculty and staff leaders (and developing leaders) at various echelons within the WSU system, including but not limited to academic chairs and directors, non-academic directors, managers, supervisors, administrative managers, and emerging leaders.
Areas of focus include:
- Leading through change
- How change impacts people and organizations
- Communicating change
- Dealing with and working through resistance
- Designing and implementing organizational change strategy
- Overcoming burnout
- Growth mindset

On Monday, May 23, HRS welcomes Darrow Brown, Program Director with the Washington State Employee Assistance Program on the Pullman campus. During this visit he will provide the following WSU system-wide group sessions in a hybrid format. We encourage all WSU faculty and staff to take advantage of these great opportunities.
