Title: “Quantum Unique Ergodicity”

Abstract:

Maass forms are Laplace eigenfunctions on the upper half plane.  It is a basic question to understand the behavior of Maass forms when the Laplace eigenvalues become large.

 In this talk, I will introduce Rudnick and Sarnak’s “Quantum Unique Ergodicity Conjecture” which conjectured the equidistribution property of Maass forms. I will discuss the recent development and open questions related to this conjecture.
