Marijuana and public health: Lecture and discussion

Washington State has legalized both recreational and medical marijuana. What are the public health implications? The Foley Institute will hold its next Coffee & Politics event on this topic Thursday, November 12, from noon – 1 p.m.

Come to the Foley Speaker’s Room on the third floor of Bryan Hall for an informative discussion, soda, and pizza. The event is free and open to the public.

John Wiesman is the Secretary of Health for the Washington State Department of Health. Dr. Wiesman has more than 22 years of public health experience and was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee in 2013.
