March 24: Legacy of Excellence Lecture and Award Presentation

The Emerita/Emeritus Society will host the Legacy of Excellence Lecture and Award Presentation on March 24, noon–1:30 p.m., in CUE 518 on the Pullman campus.

Dr. Robert G. Olsen, professor emeritus in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, will provide a lecture:

“Prologue, Gratifying Career, and Continuing Epilogue”

Light refreshments will follow.

Professor Olsen’s distinguished accomplishments include fellowship with the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers, research in electromagnetics in electric power transmission, and a decade of administrative leadership in undergraduate development. He has also remained extensively engaged in the Pullman community.

The Legacy of Excellence Award and Lecture recognizes a professor emeritus who, in retirement, continues to make outstanding contributions to academia, the university, and the community.
