March 13, 15, 19: Deadlines for Smith, TCI IDEA, and Law award applications

Application deadlines are coming very soon for three awards that recognize great teaching endeavors. The deadline dates and awards are:

  • Wednesday, March 13:
    Smith Teaching and Learning Grants
    support innovative plans to enhance teaching and learning. Project proposals must address one or more of the Eight Principles of Effective Teaching.
  • Friday, March 15:
    TCI IDEA grants
    are for innovative, creative, and relatively short-term projects. This year’s proposals for collaborative projects should center on the theme of “fostering inclusive excellence.”
  • Tuesday, March 19:
    Richard G. Law Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching
    recognizes outstanding teaching by instructors who lead University Common Requirements (UCORE) general education courses.
