Manuel Acevedo retirement celebration

After more than 31 years at WSU, J. Manuel Acevedo has announced his retirement. He served as the director of the Office for Multicultural Student Services (MSS), is the creator of the nationally recognized Team Mentoring Program (TMP), and has served on several assessment working groups.

In his many roles at WSU, Manuel has been unapologetically committed to students’ transition, persistence, and graduation, focusing on minoritized and underserved populations. His legacy of commitment to student success is unmatched. He is a valued colleague and friend who has worked tirelessly to make WSU a better place for all.

Please join us for a reception on the Pullman campus to celebrate Manuel’s career and contributions!
