Lead Climbing Clinic

If you want to take your climbing to the next level, look no further. The lead climbing clinic will teach you how to practice the method of lead climbing where you clip your rope into protection as you ascend. The clinic is on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 1- 3 p.m. and will teach participants how to effectively lead climb and belay. There will be time allotted for students to practice their new skills. The program rating is level three meaning that participants must already have a belay qualification through the WSU SRC Climbing Wall and a solid base knowledge of roped climbing methods and systems. The cost is $5 for SRC members and non-members. Harness, shoes, and belay devices will be provided.
