Lead Climbing Clinic

Are you comfortable with top roping and looking for a new skill to master? Register now for the Lead Clinic put on by the ORC! Lead climbing is the method of climbing where you clip your rope into protection as you climb. Participants in the clinic will receive instruction and will have open time to practice the skills they learn. This course will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 1-3 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center (SRC). Registration is $5 and the deadline to sign up is Jan. 11. Participants must have a belay qualification through the SRC Climbing Wall and have a strong base knowledge of roped climbing methods and systems.
