Kayak Rescue and Skills Clinic

Although there are still a few more months until kayak season, it is never too early to get prepared! The ORC offers a kayak rescue and skills clinic that will give you more confidence in the water. The clinic focuses on basic rescue skills and basic kayaking terminology. Not only will you receive instruction, but you will also get open pool time to practice your new skills as well as your previous ones. Gear is provided so simply bring your swimsuit and a positive attitude. The clinic is Jan. 20 from 6:30-10 p.m. The cost is $7 for SRC members, $10 for nonmembers and registration ends Jan. 18.
