June 1 – New Employee Orientation (videoconferenced)

New to WSU? New Employee Orientation (NEO) helps new employees learn about the University while providing them with the resources to become a successful employee. NEO is broken into two sessions:

  • Part 1: New Employee Orientation is recommended for all employees; this portion occurs from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. New Employee Orientation provides medical, dental, life and disability insurance information, as well as information on payroll, employment basics, resources and leave processes.
  •  Part 2: New Employee Retirement Orientation: is highly encouraged for all retirement plan eligible employees (choose the session below) that corresponds with your employment type.
  • Faculty and Administrative Professional retirement information 1:30-2:30 p.m.
    Civil Service and hourly retirement information 3-4 p.m.
  • We encourage all new employees to attend within their first 30 days of employment
