Join the ORC for one of their best trips of the year!

The time has come again for The Annual Backcountry Ski Trip! This year’s trip will take place from Jan. 30-Feb. 1 in beautiful Wallowas, Oregon. On Friday, Jan. 30 participants will depart to the Wallowa Mountains in Oregon and upon arrival will hike up to the Wing Ridge Hut where they will stay for the next two nights. Due to certain physical and mental demands, this trip has a level 3 rating and is only recommended for competent skiers and boarders who have had prior backpacking and/or winter travel experience.

There is also a mandatory trip meeting on Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. in the ORC Lobby. Trip costs are $185 for SRC members and $225 for nonmembers. Price includes group gear, camping equipment, transportation, cost of hut and trip leaders.  Registration ends Jan. 25.
