Join the CCE at the Palouse Outdoor Festival

Animals have a home too, and for many species native to the Palouse, that home is Granite Point and the Wawawai County Park. Come help keep it clean by participating in one of two Eco Adventures at this year’s Palouse Outdoor Festival at Wawawai Park on Saturday, Sept. 27, at either 10:15 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. You’re also invited to swing by the festival itself for fun activities and a lively Public Square discussion at noon. The discussion, “Breaching the Issues of Dams,” will be a conversation about the environmental and economic impacts of damming rivers. The WSU Center for Civic Engagement provides students with free transportation from campus for the two Eco Adventures, and shuttles are available to students through the Outdoor Recreation Center. Students can sign up to participate in the Eco Adventures or Public Square using the links above. We hope to see you at the first annual Palouse Outdoor Festival this Saturday!
