Join the Bookie board of directors 2015-2016 term

The Students Book Corporation is seeking applicants to the Board of Directors for the 2015-2016 school year. The Students Book Corporation (SBC) is owned by the students of Washington State University, is a non-profit organization, and operates bookstores on each of WSU’s campuses. The SBC Board of Directors, with the majority being students, is appointed by the Corporation’s Trustees.

A position on the SBC Board of Directors affords members the opportunity to gain experience of being involved in the strategic movements of a corporation, in-depth experience in real life issues dealing with corporate social responsibility, the ability to be a part of major financial decisions made by a large scale organization, and most importantly, the opportunity to represent the students of WSU.

There are a total of eight student positions on the Board with multiple openings at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

To apply, please visit the SBC website (https://sbcboard.wsu.edu/jointheboard.html) to complete an application. Also submit your resume. Application materials can be turned in at the submission box on the main floor of the Bookie or at the front registers.

Deadline: Sunday, February 15th
