Join the 14-Day Writing Challenge at WSU: Feb. 3–16, 2025

Washington State University, in partnership with the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD), invites faculty (of all ranks and tracks) and graduate students to participate in a free, WSU exclusive 14-Day Writing Challenge from Feb. 3–16, 2025. This program is designed to help you reconnect with your writing projects, establish consistent habits, and build community accountability to advance your scholarly goals.

Participants commit to writing for at least 30 minutes daily (Monday–Friday) and track their progress through NCFDD’s WriteNow online community. Whether you’re drafting a journal article, revising a manuscript, brainstorming ideas, or preparing conference papers, this challenge offers the structure and support to make consistent progress.

Past participants averaged 350 minutes of writing over two weeks, with 98% reporting significant benefits to their scholarly work.
