Job: Part-Time (Time-Slip) Clerical Worker Position

A time-slip (10-15 hrs/wk) clerical worker position is currently open! We are looking for qualified applicants that are available to start asap.

Under direct supervision complete clerical assignments to support office programming.  Responsibilities include using a specialized software database to run queries to track progress of faculty/students, exporting data into Excel, updating information accessible to public in the software, and sending mass email through the software system.  Utilizing Excel to track data, compile data reports, and transfer (copy & paste) information from varied sources into standardized office templates in Excel.  Perform other basic clerical tasks, such as updating communication templates, sending/responding to email, printing/cutting materials, convert documents into PDF/Excel, and scanning documents when needed.  Use written procedures to accomplish tasks.

Work Location: Pullman, WA

Number of Hours: 10-15 per week

Employment Period: As soon as possible – the end of fall 2017 semester with the intention to reappoint for spring semester.

Required Qualifications:

  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and problem solving skills
  • Available to work up to 15 hours per work
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks independently
  • Previous experience working with databases
  • Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks
  • Ability to focus in a highly trafficked work space

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of query-based software programs
  • Previous experience with data collection and reporting
