Jan. 16 MLK Unity Rally, march and service project in Spokane

Join fellow Cougs in Spokane Monday, January 16, as we join WSU-Spokane taking part in the MLK Unity Rally and March at the Spokane Convention Center.  The MLK Planning Committee has secured a bus and will provide lunch.  Registration is required and can be found at https://orgsync.com/124896/forms/235744

Schedule for the Day:

  • 7:30 a.m.:  Bus leave the Vet Med Parking lot (Grimes)
  • 9:40 a.m.: Meet at SAC Lobby to walk over to the Convention Center
  • 10 – 10:30 a.m.: Unity Rally in the Convention Center (344 W. Spokane Falls Blvd, Spokane).
  • 10:30 – 11 a.m.: March around Downtown Spokane
  • 11:30 a.m. – Noon: Pre-service lunch for all WSU Pullman and Spokane volunteers. Volunteers return to the WSU Spokane campus and meet in the SAC 147 (First Floor) to check-in with volunteer site leaders.
  • 12:40-1 p.m.: Travel to service sites
  • 1 – 3:30 p.m.: Service Projects (Note: Some projects can end earlier than the time indicated.)

    • Ronald McDonald House of Charities
