This year’s International Women’s Day will take place on March 8, and to celebrate this day, the International Women’s Day Committee (IWDC) at WSU invites women to share their stories. From Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 7, IWDC will hold a table on the CUB first floor from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. where women can share their stories and have their hands photographed with the story. This event is open to all WSU women, including students, faculty and staff.
CyberCoug and branch campus women are also invited to participate in this event by submitting a photo of their hands and story to cce.marketing@wsu.edu. The Center for Civic Engagement and University Recreation will also host this event for CyberCougs during the Tacoma Rendezvous on March 8 from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
The photographs of women’s stories collected will be displayed around campus after the event. To learn more about International Women’s Day at WSU, visit cce.wsu.edu/womensday.
