International Laboratory Animal Technician Week; Jan. 31-Feb. 6, 2021

WSU employs many essential critical workers. Workers that must come to their work location every single day – including during the COVID-19 pandemic! One group of these heroes are the laboratory animal and veterinary staff technicians who care for the many animals that are essential to the scientific discoveries, teaching endeavors and education of our future veterinary, agricultural, and scientific students.

The 2021 Tech Week theme celebrates how “Technicians Light the Path to Discovery.” This is a special week where we celebrate these unsung professionals who care for the animals at Washington State University campuses and extension locations. If you know and work with these critical staff members, please extend your thanks and appreciation to recognize their essential contributions as members of the research and educational team.
