InQueery Symposium featuring Student Panels and Keynote by Historian of Transgender Medicine Dr. Jules Gill-Peterson

The Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) and the LGBTQ+ Center are co-sponsors of the 2022 InQueery Symposium which will be held virtually 4–7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 via Zoom. The theme is “Connecting Trans and Reproductive Justice” and will feature student panels from 4–5:30 p.m. followed by keynote speaker Dr. Jules Gill-Peterson (Johns Hopkins University), a historian of transgender medicine, will deliver the keynote lecture “DIY Lessons in Freedom: Tracing Histories of Abortion and Transition” from 6–7 p.m. Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to attend. No pre-registration required.
