‘In Search of Super Soldiers’ – SPRC Seminar Feb. 10

Major Allison J. Brager, PhD — Commander, Mobile Exhibit Company/US Army Recruiting Command — will be visiting WSU Spokane Feb. 9 and 10 for the SPRC Seminar Series. Her seminar entitled “In Search of Super Soldiers” will be in person at noon on Feb. 10. Major Brager is an Army neuroscientist. She trained under Dr. Mary Carskadon (Brown University) and Dr. J. David Glass (Kent State University) and did postdoctoral fellowships with Dr. Ketema Paul (UCLA) and Dr. Thomas Balkin (Walter Reed Army Institute of Research). She studies the substrates and mechanisms of resiliency to extreme environmental stress at the level of genes, brain, and behavior.
